Applications are invited for the above position from those working in
any theoretical or applied area of statistics.
The minimum qualification on appointment is the PhD degree or
equivalent.  Current interests of the statistics group in the department
include: biostatistics, economics, biomathematics, ecology, health care
statistics and
epidemiology, financial statistics, probability theory and applications.

The Mathematics and Statistics department currently hosts two University
