Ninth Scientific Meeting of the Classification and Data Analysis Group (ClaDAG) 
of the Italian Statistical Association (SIS)

The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UniMORE) organizes the ninth scientific meeting of the Classification and Data Analysis Group of the Italian Statistical Society. The conference is mainly devoted to the theory and application of classification and data analysis statistical techniques. However, as  in occasion of the past editions, and in the spirit of the most fruitful scientific exchange, we encourage the active participation of everyone that is interested in the numerous application fields of classification and data analysis. 

We are proud to announce the keynote speakers that have already confirmed their participation to the 9th ClaDAG Conference:

> Paolo S. Giudici, Università di Pavia, Italy
   Financial risk data analysis: problems and solutions

> Mia Hubert, Department of Mathematics KU Leuven, Belgium
   Depth-based classification of multivariate functional data

> Stéphane Robin, AgroParisTech, France
   Deciphiring and modelling heterogeneity in interaction networks

> Jeroen K. Vermunt, University of Tilburg, The Netherlands

Submission schedule and guidelines are indicated on the conference website: http://www.cladag2013.it. Authors willing to present a poster and to have their short paper published in the electronic conference proceedings must send their paper before May 13rd. Posters (without short paper) can be submitted until July 15th; authors who will submit a poster before July 15th are entitled to the reduced registration fee. 

After a fast yet rigorous reviewing process a limited number of extended papers will be published in the Conference post-proceedings. Post-proceedings will be published into a prestigious and indexed series in collaboration with an international publisher.
