ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN STATISTICS

The Institute of Quantitative Methods at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy 
invites applications for a full time faculty position in Statistics at the 
level of Assistant Professor.
Contract will be running for up to six years (subject to renewal after 3 
years). The position is available starting from March, 1st, 2004. Salary 
will be competitive with other top European Schools.
The position will support research conduced by the faculty in the Institute 
and also independent research programs. The candidate is required to 
participate in teaching students at the graduate or undergraduate level 
(105 hours for year).
The candidate must have a Ph.D in Statistics or related fields and have 
evidence of excellent teaching ability and outstanding research potential.
