CALL FOR PAPERS


COVER – Empirical Research Conference, October, 30th, 2020.

Submissions are now open for speakers at the COVER conference organised by the Centre of Excellence in Economics and Data Science (CEEDS) and the Data Science Research Center (DSRC), University of Milan, Italy. Accepted papers will be included in a book of short papers published by Milano University Press. 

Submissions are also open to contributors external to the conference, if interested.

The book will be divided in three parts:
•Part I: economic and social determinants that favor the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic; 
•Part II: effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on society; 
•Part III: mathematical and statistical models for forecasting the COVID-19 pandemic.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES

February 15, 2021 – Deadline for submitting papers
March 15, 2021 – End of the (first-round) revision process and notice to Authors
April 15, 2021 – Deadline for submitting revised papers
April 30, 2021 – Acceptance letter


Short papers must include title, authors names and their affiliations, and a short abstract of less than 150 words. They should not exceed 2,000 words (not counting title and abstract), double-spaced, 12 pt fonts (preferably Times New Roman) with 1 inch margins. Latex (article class) and word formats are accepted.



Submissions should be sent to ceeds a unimi.it, specifying "COVER submission" in the subject field of the e-mail.
