[Forum SIS] ENBIS-21 Online Conference: registration

ENBIS-21 Annual Conference will take place online from Monday 13th to  
Wednesday 15th September 2021. As you know, the current situation of  
the COVID-19 pandemic doesn't allow us to have a face-to-face  
conference yet.

The conference will include presentations from the 2021 ENBIS Award  
recipients (Box Medal Award: Christine M. Anderson-Cook; Young  
Statistician Award: Inez M. Zwetsloot; Best Manager Award: Bertrand  
Iooss).

Tirthankar Dasgupta (Rutgers University, US) and Peter Parker (NASA  
Langley Research Center, US) will deliver keynote presentations.

The schedule of the conference will be announced in a few weeks. It  
will be different from usual face-to-face conferences to facilitate  
live participation from everywhere in the world.

Registration to the conference is now open. To register, please go to  
https://conferences.enbis.org/event/11/registrations/7/, and click on  
the button to register. If you're not logged in, you'll need to first  
log in. As we are in the process of changing the ENBIS website and all  
backend systems, you cannot use your old password for the ENBIS  
website anymore. Please follow the instructions in the attached file  
to ask for a new password (if you haven't done this yet).

Registration for the conference has a 50 euro fee, that can be paid by  
bank transfer. Please follow the instructions you'll receive once you  
register. Please complete the registration and payment process by the  
end of August. For any problem with the payment of the registration  
fee you can contact the ENBIS treasurer at treasurer a enbis.org

Remember that ENBIS offers a Knowledge Fund that supports the  
participation of members in the ENBIS annual meetings, offering them  
the opportunity to enter the network on the one hand and enriching the  
network itself on the other hand with fresh intellect and ideas.  
Hence, within the set budget limit, younger applicants shall be  
considered for funding first.

Since this year's annual meeting is online, applicants are only  
requested to email the President (murat.testik a gmail.com) asking for  
the waiver of the registration fee and attaching a support letter from  
a third person (such as their supervisor if PhD student).

As usual, a special issue of "Quality and Reliability Engineering  
International" will be published with contributions from the conference.

On Thursday 16th September 2021, a post-conference workshop will be  
offered by Volker Kraft (JMP) on Survival Analysis. Registration for  
this workshop is free and open to everyone. For more information on
