Per chi fosse interessato, di seguito i riferimenti della prossima riunione
scientifica della SIEDS. Cordialmente, Salvatore Strozza

The 57th Meeting of the Italian Society of Economics Demography and
Statistics (SIEDS – *Società Italiana di Economia Demografia e Statistica*)
will be held in virtual mode on 27th May 2021. Its main theme will be
“Methods, Measures and Policies for a Sustainable Restart”.

Keynote speakers will be Prof. Giancarlo Blangiardo (President of ISTAT),
Prof. Leonardo Becchetti and Prof. Massimo Livi Bacci. They will take part
to the unique plenary session: “Statistics in the Service of Re-birth”.

Parallel sessions on free scientific contributions are dedicated to
existing and new members.

To participate in the Meeting, you should upload title and abstract
<http://www.sieds.it/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Standard_Abstract.docx> of
your contributions (a maximum of two contributions are allowed) in the
dedicated section of the SIEDS website *from 1st to 30th April 2021*.

Anyone interested in the Meeting, who is not a member, can fill in the
membership application (www.sieds.it/index.php/iscriviti/) and send it to
the info a sieds.it attaching a short CV. In a few days you will receive your
credentials to access your personal area where you can upload your
abstract/s.

After the presentation, the paper can be submitted by 17th July 2021 and in
case of positive feedback, published in the *Italian Journal of Economic
Demographic and Statistical Studies* which for years has been freely
accessible and is indexed in international bibliographic repertories.

We sincerely hope to see you online very soon and in person next year in
Palermo at the LUMSA University.
