[Forum SIS] Tenured senior lectureship in Mathematical Statistics & Data Science, Gothenburg, Sweden

We are searching for a Senior Lecturer to the Division of Applied 
Mathematics and Statistics at Chalmers University (Gothenburg, Sweden) 
who would contribute to our expertise in the area of mathematical 
statistics towards data science.

The position is permanent (tenured).

The successful candidate is expected to develop and maintain a 
high-level research program in mathematical statistics with emphasis on 
computer intensive methods and participate in the undergraduate and 
graduate level teaching in mathematical statistics at our department.

The successful candidate will strengthen and complement the research 
performed at the Division of Applied Mathematics and Statistics 
<https://www.chalmers.se/en/departments/math/organisation/applied-mathematics-and-statistics/Pages/default.aspx> 
which is internationally recognized in areas such as

  * Bayesian statistics, forensic statistics,
  * spatial statistics, extreme value theory,
  * biostatistics, bioinformatics, and systems biology,
  * stochastic differential equations, computational mathematics.

We are particularly interested in enhancing our AI a MS 
<https://www.chalmers.se/en/departments/math/research/research-groups/AIMS/Pages/default.aspx> 
group on Artificial Intelligence at Mathematical Sciences.
