WORKSHOP

RECENT ADVANCES ON MODELING AND INFERENCE FOR BRAIN SIGNALS AND IMAGES

ROME (ITALY)

JUNE 14, 9.30:17.30

***********************************************************************************************************************

We are happy to announce that the Department of Statistical Sciences,
Sapienza University of Rome, will host the Workshop "Recent advances on
modeling and inference for brain signals and images", a satellite event for
the annual meeting of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping. Please
visit the website

http://brainstats.dss.uniroma1.it/

The workshop will take place in the DiGiLab (via dei Volsci, 122, Rome) on
June 14, 9.30:17.30, and will bring together speakers who are actively
developing new approaches for modeling and analyzing brain imaging data.
The talks broadly address current challenges to modeling brain processes,
which are complex in nature. The topics will cover fitting high-dimensional
models, extracting summaries from high-dimensional structures, modeling
associations between imaging and clinical outcomes and advances in
computation and statistical inference for big data.

This workshop is jointly organized by the Section on Imaging
<https://community.amstat.org/statisticsinimagingsection/home> of the
American Statistical Association and the Department of Statistical Sciences
<http://www.dss.uniroma1.it/en>, Sapienza University of Rome.

We gratefully acknowledge the Journal METRON
<https://link.springer.com/journal/40300> as the sponsor of this workshop,
and the DigiLab of Sapienza for the use of the facilities.

There is no registration fee but, due to space limitation, you need to
register in advance (go to the registration
