We are glad to announce the call for papers of JADT 2018
(http://jadt2018.uniroma2.it) , 14th International Conference on the
Statistical Analysis of Textual Data, that will be held in Rome
(Italy), from 12 to 15 June 2018 (organised by the DII– Department of
Enterprise Engineering “Mario Lucertini” Tor Vergata University, Rome
and by the DSS– Department of Statistical Sciences, Sapienza
University, Rome).
This biennial conference, which has constantly been gaining importance
since its first occurrence in Barcelone (1990), is open to all
scholars and researchers working in the field of textual data
analysis; ranging from lexicography to the analysis of political
discourse, from information retrieval to marketing research, from
computational linguistics to sociolinguistics, from text mining to
content analysis.
JADT 2018 uses the EasyChair system to manage submissions.
Participants who wish to present a paper or a poster are invited to
send a title and a summary (500 words; English, French, Italian) by
November 20, 2017.

The Authors should submit the full paper by December 22th, 2017. The
papers will be peer reviewed. The full text of the communication
should be maximum 6 pages, including references. Authors will be
notified of the Scientific Committee's decisions on the acceptance of
their proposal and on the presentation format (oral communication or
poster) by February 23, 2018.
The Authors are invited to submit the final accepted version of paper
(6 pages) of their contribution by March 27, 2018, using the same
paper's submission procedure. The final paper will be subject to a
final re-reading.
A selection of extended papers presented at the JADT18 conference will
be published, after a review process, in a Springer Book and in
special issues of Journals:
