We happily announce and invite paper submissions for the 54th Scientific Meeting of the Società Italiana di Economia, Demografia e Statistica - SIEDS 2017 conference, which will take place at the University of Catania, Department of Political and Social Sciences, from May 25th to 26th, 2017.  

The title of the conference is "Geographical, Social and Economic Mobility: Models and Methods for Data Analysis".

Plenary sessions are organised by invited papers. Details can be seen at the conference website: http://sieds2017.dsps.unict.it.

People who wish to submit a paper for the spontaneous sessions should send the title and an abstract of their paper by April 23rd, 2017 to rivista.sieds a gmail.com. 
Details of title and abstract submission are available at http://sieds2017.dsps.unict.it.

After the Conference, authors will be encouraged to submit a full paper (up to 12 pages) for the publication in the "Rivista Italiana di Economia, Demografia e Statistica" to be released in 2018. All submitted papers will undergo a regular reviewing process.

SIEDS 2017 DEADLINES: 
.	Title and pre-registration: April 23rd, 2017
.	Short paper: July 15th, 2017
.	Notification of acceptance: September 15th, 2017
.	Revised short paper: October 15th, 2017
