I wish to bring to your attention the 2016-2017 edition of the PhD Programs  in “Economics and Finance” and “Economics, Law and Institutions” offered by the Department of Economics and Finance at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.

17 Ph.D. Scholarships  - Call for Application

 

The Department of Economics and Finance of the University of Rome Tor Vergata offers 8 positions (all with scholarships) for a 3 year PhD Programme in "Economics and Finance" and 9 positions for a 3 year PhD Programme in  "Economics, Law and Institutions".

 

Doctoral scholarships are about 1.200 euro a month, with a possible 50% increase for research stays abroad plus additional funding to attend conferences and summer schools.

 

We invite applications from qualified graduates (MSc degree or equivalent) in Economics or closely related fields.

 

Admission is on a competitive basis. The deadline for applications is May 30th 2016.

 

For the next academic year 17 (8+9) positions are available,  all of which come with a full grant. The amount of the grant is €13,638.47 per year (about €12,378.30 net per year), and is increased by 50% during the periods spent abroad for study and research. 

Additional funding to attend conferences and for visiting periods.
