SOMERIS (SOcial MEdia and RISk) Workshop

collocated with the ACM/IEEE ASONAM 2015 conference in Paris, August 25,
2015. 

The focus of SOMERIS is on the thematic of "risk assessment in social
media". Specific topics include but are not constrained to: 
- social media graph / text mining, 
- dynamics of social networks, 
- privacy in social media 
- risk assessment in online industry - with applications in the insurance
sector 
- fraud detection and prevention, 
- peer-to-peer insurance, 
. 

SOMERIS is intended as a forum open to a wide range of academic or
industrial researchers, either in the field of applied mathematics,
concerned with the modeling of such problems, or computer science topics
such as crawling, structuring and exploitation of data from social media. 

The workshop welcomes original contributions, either theoretical or
empirical, describing ongoing projects or completed work (even partially
published). 

Publication of accepted workshop papers will be through IEEE Computer
Society and will be included in the ASONAM proceedings. 

The page limit for accepted regular workshop papers are *** 8 pages ***,
including all figures, tables, and references. Papers must be in IEEE
camera-ready format (two-column template -
http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates....)
. 

All papers will be double-blindly reviewed by the Program Committee on the
basis of technical quality, relevance, significance, originality and
clarity. 

At least one author of each accepted paper must attend the workshop and
present the paper. 
Key dates: 
Paper submission: April 30, 2015 
Author notifications: June 10th 2015 
Camera ready submission date: June 25th 2015.
