Co-sponsored by the University of Valencia and the International
Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA), the Ninth Valencia International
Meeting on Bayesian Statistics, and the 2010 World Meeting of the
International Society for Bayesian Analysis} will jointly be held in
Benidorm (Alicante, Spain) from Thursday June 3rd to Tuesday June 10th,
2010, both inclusive.

Valencia 9/ISBA 2010 continues the tradition of this premier conference
series – established in 1979 with the First Valencia International
Meeting – as the forum for a definitive overview of current concerns
and activities in Bayesian statistics. In this tradition, the meeting
will encompass a wide range of theoretical and applied research, and
will also highlight the breadth, vitality and impact of Bayesian
thinking in interdisciplinary research.

The scientific programme will include (i) a set of 25 plenary talks
followed by a discussion initiated by an invited discussant, which has
been organized by the Valencia meeting scientific committee and will
take place in the mornings, (ii) a set of invited talks organized by
ISBA which will take place in the afternoons, and (iii) a set of plenary
poster sessions which will take place in the evenings. The conference
will be preceded by a set of tutorials of Bayesian Statistics organized
by ISBA. The language of the conference will be English.

Detailed information, registration procedures and the possibility to
subscribe to the Valencia mailing list, are all available at the
