Nell'ambito del ciclo di lezioni su:
METODI NON PARAMETRICI PER L'ANALISI DELLA SOPRAVVIVENZA
mercoledi' 31 marzo 1999. ore 10.30 in aula C
(anzicche' alle 10.00 in aula 4, come inizialmente previsto),
si terra' la seconda lezione dal titolo
NONPARAMETRIC BAYESIAN SURVIVAL ANALISYS
Stephen Walker,
Imperial College
London
The lecture will deal with the following topics:
- Discrete and continuous models, Levy processes, predictive sequences,
modelling multiple state processes.
- The Beta and Beta-Stacy processes. Prior construction, posterior
computation and simulation algorithms, Bayes estimates, and what is wrong
with the Dirichlet process.
- Constructing priors for a cumulative hazard, posterior computations and
Bayes estimates, extension to multiple state processes, alternative
estimators to Nelson-Aalen.
- Bayesian nonparametric approach to Cox regression using Levy processes
and inclusion of time varying covariates.
