Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in the Department of 
Probability and Statistics, University of Sheffield.  This is a full-time 
post created as part of the University's drive to further strengthen 
its position as a leading research and teaching centre in Statistics, 
following the appointment of Professor O'Hagan and a new lecturer 
last year.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic researcher, with 
research interests in any area of statistics or probability, and with a 
commitment to high-quality teaching.  Appointment may be made 
at any point on the Lecturer A or B scale, according to experience 
and qualifications.
