RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN BAYESIAN MODELLING USING BUGS


Abstract:

The BUGS software is being increasingly used for teaching and research:
WinBUGS 1.4 has had over 13500 registrations.  Recent developments will
be outlined.  Software issues include the open-source version, calling
WinBUGS from R, embedding BUGS within R (BRUGS), and facilities for
adding your own functions and distributions.  Language applications
include model criticism, model comparison and use of the 'cut' function.
