doing a PhD in Italy

Hi,
I'm about to move to Italy and I would like to do a
PhD there (in statistics or game theory). I wonder if
you are aware of any recruitment (or recruitment in
the near future) of PhD students. At the moment I
still haven't decided where to live, so the location
is still an open question, meaning that any university
location would be considered seriously by me. I hope
some of you may be able to give me a tip or two. Many
thanks in advance...
