           VENICE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY 
	        Island of San Servolo
		
		 January 7-9, 2002



At the end of a two-year research program on measurement and 
modelling issues related to the functioning of the Italian labour 
market, a workshop is organised to be held in January 7-9, 2002 
at the Venice International University, Island of S.Servolo, 
Venice.

Four half-day sessions will take place focused on:
 . Flows in the labour market
 . Wage mobility
 . Evaluation of labour market programme
 . Poverty dynamics

The workshop will feature invited talks by:
 . John Micklewright (UNICEF, Firenze)
 . Niels Westergard-Nielsen (CLS, Aarhus)
 . Pauline Givord (INSEE, France)
along with several contributions by members of the research group.

Attendance at the workshop is free of charge. A certain number 
of places are available and will be allocated on a first-come, 
first-served basis. If you would like to attend the workshop,

attendance. The final program of the workshop will be posted by 
December 20 to those emailing their interest.
