The Department of Medical Epidemiology (http://www.mep.ki.se/) is a
multi-discipline research group at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm,
Sweden. Research interests include biostatistics and a broad spectrum of
epidemiological research areas (including clinical, cancer, genetic, and
molecular epidemiology).
We have several openings for biostatisticians and welcome applications from
individuals with formal training in statistics who are interested in working
in a dynamic and creative research environment. Experience in medical
research, epidemiology, or SAS programming is advantageous. The Department
of Medical Epidemiology presently employs over 100 staff. The biostatistics
group, led by Professor Juni Palmgren, comprises 5 Ph.D. level
statisticians, 3 masters level statisticians, and 3 statistics doctoral
students. Good opportunities exist for research and further education.
