People interested in presenting a paper at the conference are kindly
invited to send a DETAILED abstract by DECEMBER, 15th, 2000, to 

           Fabrizio Ruggeri (fabrizio@iami.mi.cnr.it),

specifying the preferred format for their presentation (oral/poster).

DEADLINES:

December, 15th, 2000: Abstract submission
January,  31st, 2001: Acceptance notification 
March,    31st, 2001: Registration of contributed speakers

NOTICE:

- Registration is limited to 80 participants.
- Advance hotel booking is strongly recommended.
- The amount of the registration fee, covering coffee breaks and 3 dinners,
  will be announced shortly on the conference web page (it should not
  exceed 180 Euros / 160 US$ / 350,000 Lit).

The workshop will be held in an informal environment (a '700 villa
on the lake of Como) to encourage discussion and promote further
research in the field of Bayesian inference in stochastic processes 
and on the use of stochastic processes for Bayesian inference.

The workshop is endorsed by ISBA (International Society for Bayesian
Analysis) and funded by CNR-IAMI (Milan, Italy), Universita' ``L. Bocconi''
(Milan, Italy), Universita' dell'Insubria (Varese, Italy), Universita' di
Pavia (Pavia, Italy) and MURST (Italian Ministry for University and
Research) Research Programme on ``Processi stocastici, calcolo stocastico 
e applicazioni'' (Research units of Universita' di Pavia and Politecnico di
Milano).
