Dear all,
On behalf of the organizing committee, it is a pleasure to announce that the 10th Scientific Meeting of the Research Group of Statistics for the Evaluation and Quality in Services (SVQS) of the Italian Statistical Society, titled IES2022 Innovation and Society 5.0: Statistical and Economic Methodologies for Quality Assessment, will be held on January 27th-28th  2022 at the University of Campania “L. Vanvitelli”.

-    IES2022 - Innovation and Society 5.0: Statistical and Economic Methodologies for Quality Assessment has the scientific finality to promote and coordinate the statistical and economic methodologies for the evaluation of a human-centered society emphasizing how statistical thinking, design and analysis may be of use to a Society 5.0, to foster advanced methodological research supporting the assessment of quality of social services, and to be a platform where the experts of Statistics, Data Mining, Data Science, Machine Learning and related disciplines meet for analysing Big Data.
Contributions based on the development of all innovative statistical methodologies as well as of all interesting applications are welcome. The subject-matter of the contributions cover the following areas (but not limited to):
Sustainability, Health, Wellness, Sport, Tourism, Education, Training and Research, Bank and FinTech, Transportation, Environment, Enterprise, Industry and Finance, E.commerce, Digital Marketing, Labour Market, Public Administration, Justice System.
We are delighted to have the following keynote speakers:

  *   Prof. Maurizio Vichi (University of Rome)
  *   Prof. Michel van de Velden (University of Rotterdam, NL)
::: IES 2022 PAPERS AND SPECIAL ISSUES :::
Authors who wish to present a contribution to the conference are required to send a short paper by October 15th 2021. All contributions will be subject to a “blind refereeing process”.

Book of Short Papers: all the accepted short papers (up to 4-6 pages) will be published in the IES2022 Proceedings, with ISBN.
Authors of papers presented at IES2022 may submit a full paper for possible publication in a special issue of International Journals, more information will be communicated later.

- Short Paper Submission: October 15th 2021
- Notification to authors (decision is taken, and possible revisions are required): November 15th 2021
- Resubmission of the revised version: December 5th 2021
- Early bird registration: December 15th 2021
