Cari soci,
vi scrivo per pubblicizzare un bando per un assegno di ricerca annuale (rinnovabile) MED01 presso l’Università degli Studi di Milano, nell’ambito della collaborazione con il Registro Europeo di Fibrosi Cistica.

Grazie
Federico Ambrogi

The University of Milan is recruiting a statistician for the joint research activity with the European Cystic Fibrosis Society Patient Registry (ECFSPR).
The European Cystic Fibrosis Society (ECFS) is an international community of scientific and clinical professionals committed to improving survival and quality of life for people with cystic fibrosis (CF) by promoting high quality research, education and care. As part of the ECFS, the Patient Registry collects demographic and clinical data from consenting people with cystic fibrosis (CF) in Europe. The information is used to measure, survey and compare aspects of CF and its treatment in participating countries, to deepen the understanding of CF, to improve standards of care, to provide data for epidemiological research and to facilitate public health planning (www.ecfs.eu/ecfspr <http://www.ecfs.eu/ecfspr>). The Registry’s database includes information from almost 50,000 people with CF, living in 38 countries, and longitudinal data from 2008 to 2019. It is a unique resource reflecting the reality of CF across Europe.
The University of Milan is responsible for management, data-validation, data-analysis and reporting of the ECFSPR data.
