The 5th European Conference on Social Networks (EUSN 2021) will be held in
Naples, 7-10 September, 2021. Continuing the traditions of previous
conferences in Barcelona (2014), Paris (2016), Mainz (2017), and Zurich
(2019), the conference will bring together researchers and practitioners
from the social sciences in the broad sense as well as statistics, computer
science, data science, physics, economics, humanities, and other areas
dealing with network science.



The conference will host organized sessions, posters and workshops on
social network theory, social network applications, and methods for data
collection, modeling, analysis, and visualization of social networks.

Jürgen Pfeffer - TU Munich, Germany

Beate Volker - Utrecht University, Netherlands

Paola Tubaro – CNRS Paris, France





*Venue*

In the hope to personally meet, the Conference will be located in the
Campus of the Polytechnical School of Federico II University of Naples. In
case of unsafe epidemic conditions, the Local Organizing Committee will
arrange a complete online conference. Final decision will be announced in
May. Conference fees will vary on the basis of the conference format,
ranging from 50€ (virtual) to 200€ (in-person).



*Abstract submission guidelines *(*opening 1 April 2021, deadline 23

Abstracts for oral presentation to EUSN 2021 should be submitted to one of
the organized sessions that are listed and described here
<http://www.eusn2021.unina.it/download/session_booklet.pdf>. Contributions
for the poster session and for other sessions not listed are welcome.
Abstracts have to be submitted to all tracks via the *EasyChair submission
page. <http://www.eusn2021.unina.it/callforpapers.html>*

Abstracts are limited to 500 words, not including the title, and should not
contain references. You will be asked to indicate a preferred session and
to designate a speaker.  Contributors are restricted to one presentation
but may be co-authors of multiple submissions.



*Oral presentations*

Oral presentations are allocated 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for discussion.
Any topic relevant to social network analysis, including theory, methods,
and empirical applications will be considered.



*Posters*

Posters will be exhibited during a poster session on Friday,
10 September 2021. You will be asked to indicate whether you would like to
participate in the associated *poster slam competition*.
