We remind you the following call for papers with new dates:

The Journal METRON is calling for papers in a special issue on
"Statistical methods for service quality evaluation and improvement: New challenges in theory and applications"
In modern societies, planning and improving public policies can most effectively be achieved by quantitative measurement of public and private service quality and subsequent statistical analysis of the data collected. Recently, a variety of new challenges have emerged in this field, in particular concerning study designs, availability of large and heterogeneous data sources, and mechanisms for complex treatment assignment. The availability of new data sources provides opportunities for a more complete analysis of service processes than was previously possible. The goals can only be achieved by employing a wide variety of statistical methods, including continuous and categorical data methods, and, for example, panel data models and generalized estimating equations.
This themed issue of Metron is dedicated to new statistical developments, both theoretical and applied, in service quality evaluation and improvement. The focus is on the development of innovative statistical methodologies for the analysis of real-life data motivated by relevant applications.
Submissions can be made via the website of the journal http://www.editorialmanager.com/tron/.
