[Forum SIS] 3-year postdoctoral fellowship in Statistics

Dear All,
with this e-mail, we would like to inform you that the Department of Economics,Management and Quantitative Methods (DEMM), University of Milan, Italy, launchesa call for a full-time, 3-year fixed-term Postdoctoral Research Associate positionto work on a statistical science programme grant funded by the Centre ofExcellence in Economics and Data Science (CEEDS), awarded by the ItalianMinistry of Education (MIUR). 

  

The research activity is to be carried out atthe Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods of theUniversity of Milan, under the supervision of Prof. Chiara Tommasi, withinthe research programme “Selection of the most informative observations”. The annual grossremuneration package for this position will be €32,000. 



 
The research project concerns adaptationand generalization of the optimal design  theory   and of some typical resultsof mathematical statistics, for selecting the most informative observationsfrom a huge and complex data set.
