[Forum SIS] CALL FOR INTEREST - Senior (Tenure-Track) Assistant Professorship in High Dimensional Statistics For Economics and Finance

The Department of Economics and Finance (DEF) at the University of Rome Tor
Vergata invites expressions of interest for Senior (Tenure-Track) Assistant
Professorships in the area of Statistical methods for high dimensional data
in Economics and Finance.

 

The position is for three years, but subject to evaluation, it might be
converted in a tenured Associate Professorship. Applicants for this position
must have at least three years of experience after PhD graduation, and an
already established research record.

 

Salary, research account and teaching load are competitive with leading
academic institutions abroad. Knowledge of Italian is not required.

 

Our Department is devoted to promote high-quality research, seminars and
conference activities, with the aim of contributing to the national and
international policy debate. RePEc and Tilburg University rank our
Department among the top 5 institutions in Italy, and the top 100 in Europe.
The Italian Ministry of University and Research has recently financed the
Department under the program "Departments of Excellence 2018-2022".
