[Forum SIS] Call for PhD Applications (XXXIV Cycle) in Analytics for Economics and Management (AEM) - University of Brescia, Italy

Dear SIS Members,

The University of Brescia will offer the PhD program in Analytics for Economics and Management (AEM) starting from November 2018 (A.Y. 2018/2019). The PhD program aims at training high profile scientists and experts, able to apply analytical and computational tools to data with the goal of making complex decisions in Economics and Management. They will have advanced methodological foundations in:

- Statistics
- Operations Research
- Models and Methods for Economics and Finance

with applications to several areas, such as:

- Business
- Energy
- Environment
- Finance
- Logistics
- Sports

Mandatory and optional courses for the Statistics Area are the following:

- Statistical Inference and Probability
- Multivariate Data Analysis
- Statistics for Data Science I - Theory and Methods
- Statistics for Data Science II - R and Python Laboratory
- Statistical Models and Forecasting
- Statistical Models for Categorical Data Analysis
- Statistical Models and Risk Management

Six grants are available, one of them reserved for students with a non Italian master degree. Two additional positions without grant are available.
