Dear ISI members,

It is a great pleasure for us to invite our fellow ISI members to the 
62^nd ISI World Statistics Congress 2019 (ISI WSC 2019) to be held in 
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 18 – 23 August 2019. This prestigious 
congress is beorganised by the ISI in collaboration with the Department 
of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), Central Bank of Malaysia (BNM) and 
Malaysia Institute of Statistics (ISM).

The ISI WSC 2019 will bring together about 2,500 statisticians, 
researchers, industry practitioners, regulators and policymakers from 
more than 130 countries to share insights on the developments in 
statistics and statistical science, and their applications to support 
analysis, surveillance and decision making. Details on the congress are

We are pleased to inform you that the registration 
<http://www.isi2019.org/registration/> for the congress is now open. The 
Early Bird registration <http://www.isi2019.org/registration/> is from 1 
December 2018 to 31 May 2019 and ISI members can enjoy a special rate. 
You can also register for pre-congress events such as short courses 
<http://www.isi2019.org/short-courses/> scheduled for 16 and 17 August 
2019. We look forward to your participation in the congress and visit to 
Malaysia.

Other key information on the congress are:

•           Contribution of Papers: The submission of papers for 
Contributed Paper and Poster Sessions (CPS) is currently open and will 
close on 31 January 2019. Statistical reporting officers, statisticians 
and researchers from your institution are invited to submit papers for CPS.

•           Sponsorship and Exhibition: If your institution is 
interested in contributing to the event as a sponsor or exhibitor, 
please refer to the Sponsorship and Exhibition Prospectus available at 
http://www.isi2019.org/sponsorship-opportunities/.
