CALL FOR PRE-DOCTORAL CONTRACT, PHD POSITION – RESEARCH PROJECT (4 YEARS)
The Optimum Experimental Design group, OED
GRANT: Optimum Design of Experiments Applied to Health and Safety
Research, funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (SPAIN).
SUMMARY: The Optimum Experimental Design group, OED
(http://areaestadistica.uclm.es/oed/ [1]) is a consolidated research
group formed by researchers from several Spanish and foreign
universities.
Design of experiments (DOE) is a part of statistics that provides tools
for efficient experimentation. It searches for experimental conditions
in order to increase the accuracy of the estimation of the parameters in
regression models.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: A degree enough for doing a PhD in Spain.
Preference on Mathematics, Statistics or any other with strong
Mathematical basis. Candidates should be interested in developing a
professional research career.
AIM: Development of a PhD within the scope of the project.
