[Forum SIS] TIES-GRASPA 2017 conference: registration and abstract submission will open on March 6, 2017

Dear All,



this is to announce that registration and abstract submission for the
TIES-GRASPA 2017 Conference on Climate and Environment will open on *Monday
March 6*, *2017*. We remind you that the deadline for abstract submission
is March 30, 2017 and the one for early bird registration is May 8, 2017.



We also inform you about the following news:

-   extended versions of a selection of invited/contributed abstracts will
be considered for publication in a *special issue* to be published on the
ISI/Scopus indexed journal Statistics and Probability Letters (
https://www.journals.elsevier.com/statistics-and-probability-letters/).

- In addition to the confirmed keynote speakers (Sudipto Banerjee, Claudia
Tebaldi  - *President’s invited lecture* -, E. Porcu - *Stuart Hunter’s
lecture* - and Brunero Liseo), there will be a *panel session* involving
Jochem Marotzke (Max-Planck-Institut für Meteorologie, Germany), Peter
Thorne (Maynooth University, Ireland) and Richard Smith (University of
North Carolina, US).
