Turbulence and Ambit Stochastics in Flatland






Abstract: We present a stochastic framework for the construction of stationary, homogeneous and isotropic vector fields based on the integration with respect to a Lévy basis over an associated ambit set in space-time. Potential applications to the modelling of the dynamics of two-dimensional turbulence are discussed.
