CLUSTERING BASED ON DENSITY ESTIMATION: A FORMULATION

Abstract: Cluster analysis based on non-parametric density estimation
represents an approach to the clustering problem whose roots date back
several decades, but it is only in recent times that this approach could
actually be developed. The talk presents one proposal within this
approach which is among the few ones which have been brought up to the
operational stage.
