VIII MEETING ON DYNAMICS OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC SYSTEMS

Dear Colleagues,

The VIII  Workshop proceeds with the successful activities of the previous
ones held in La Plata (Argentina) 1998 and 2001, Mar del Plata (Argentina)
2005, Panama (Argentina) 2009, Benevento (Italy) 2010, Ushuaia (Argentina)
2012, Seville (Spain), 2014.

All the Conferences until now have been organized by Dyses Association. The
current meeting will take place at Universidad de La Habana, Cuba for 3 days
from September 27 to 29, 2016.

SCOPE
The primary aim of this meeting is to bring together different scientists
working on the development of models and facilitate them to be able to
prospect and evaluate social and economic situations. Mathematical
techniques include, but are not limited to, temporary series of prediction,
time series forecasting, inference procedures, stochastic and/or dynamic
systems, modeling of biological systems, optimization, development of
computational and knowledge-model based representations of human,
organizational, cultural, and societal structures, uncertainty measures,
multicriteria decision making and any other method/technique able to
anticipate future behavior of these systems are welcome.
The main purpose is to contribute in the processes of decision-making and to
evaluate socioeconomic decisions. Moreover , approaches to the legal frame
more adequate to grant peaceful interactions among individuals, societies,
countries, as well as, criteria of confidence of prognosis, decision and
uncertainty will also be analyzed into the Information Society (IS) and the
Knowledge Society (KS) contexts. Scientists from different areas such as
mathematics, physics, social sciences, economy, law, biology, informatics,
as well as people working on social inequality, social welfare, collective
tendencies, cognition and economy, are invited to participate in the
conference.
