Apologies for multiple posting

Dear colleagues,

The conference, co-organised by the Cancer Survival Group (http://csg.lshtm.ac.uk/) and the Centre for Statistical Methodology (http://csm.lshtm.ac.uk/) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), will take place from Wednesday 31st of August to Friday 2nd of September 2016 (http://csg.lshtm.ac.uk/pta2016/).
The conference will focus on three main areas of time-to-event analyses, all of which concentrate on population-based data and translational epidemiology: (i) Recent methodological developments in competing risks and net survival, (ii) Hierarchical and correlated data in survival and longitudinal analysis, and (iii) Causal inference in longitudinal settings with time-dependent confounding.
Invited international speakers, experts in their field will present the state-of-the-art of methods and areas highlighted above (http://csg.lshtm.ac.uk/pta2016/#programme).
We hope to see you all in London this summer.
Best wishes,
The PTA coordinating team
