SIS2016 - XLIX Scientific Meeting of the Italian Statistical Society

It is a pleasure to remind you the SIS2016 Conference, that will take 
place at University of Salerno.
The Conference will include plenary, specialized, solicited, contributed 
and poster sessions.
Authors wishing to present a contributed paper are invited to submit a 
short paper.
Authors wishing to present a poster are invited to submit an abstract 
and are strongly encouraged to present a short paper.


The Committee invites submissions of contributed papers/posters to be 
included in the program after acceptance.
The poster sessions will be organized following the “speed session” format.
These can be on any area of interest relevant to theoretical and applied 
statistics.

Papers are submitted on-line

All submissions, except invited talks, are subject to a blind refereeing 
process.

/Short paper submission (Contributed sessions and posters)/
To ensure proper evaluation, short papers should be from 4 to 6 pages 
long and describe the substantive problem and the data analyzed, as well 
as the approach and models used. Also include a clear statement of the 
main results and conclusions and indicate the most important key references.

The papers can be submitted using LaTeX or Word editorial standards.

The LaTeX users need to upload a .zip file containing the .tex file, any 
image files and the .pdf version of the paper in the submission area.

After acceptance of the contributed papers, the Conference Program 
Committee will confirm the inclusion in the program of the proposed 
contributed paper sessions.

Papers:
- from 4 to 6 pages for the short paper of contributed sections and posters
- do not exceed 10 pages for the papers of solicited sections
- do not exceed 14 pages for the papers of specialized sections
- do not exceed 20 pages for the papers of plenary sections


/*Abstracts*/
All abstracts should contain not more than 200 words, without references 
and formula.

/*Deadlines*/
Abstract/Papers Submissions:  extended to February 14th, 2016
(Authors of the posters can submit only the abstracts)

Authors Notifications:  March 25th, 2016

Final version:  April 17th, 2016


/*3. Publications*/
a) The Book of Abstracts submitted through the on line system will be 
printed for the meeting.
b) Proceedings: all the accepted papers (included short papers) will be 
published in the SIS2016 Proceedings (pen drive) with ISBN.
