[Forum SIS] post-doc position joint at the InterDisciplinary Institute of Data Science, Lugano and Department of Biostatistics, Harvard

The most recent research institute created at the USI, the InterDisciplinary
Institute of Data Science, IDIDS,(www.idids.usi.ch) has an immediate opening
for a post-doctoral researcher in a three-year project supported by the
Swiss  
National Science Foundation (SNF).

The project is co-directed by Professor Antonietta Mira and Professor
Jukka-Pekka Onnela (Department of Biostatistics,
Harvard University).

Successful candidates will have recently completed a PhD degree in
Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science and have a
background in statistical network science.

Interested applicants should send their CV, cover letter, two publications
and contact information for three references to idids at usi.ch. Please include
³ABC Methods in Network Science² in the subject.

The position is tenable immediately and open until filled.

Salary is internationally competitive.
