ENBIS‐15: More Information & Final Call for Papers –  Submit Your 
Abstract No Later Than June 14th

ENBIS – the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics – is 
a platform where statistical
practitioners and academic statisticians from Europe and beyond meet, 
exchange ideas and design
new projects. ENBIS sponsors an annual conference and numerous 
additional events, many of them
web‐based.

The annual conference takes place every September and hosts 
presentations from a wide variety of
sectors, ranging from manufacturing to service, from private to public 
sector. This year, the ENBIS‐15
conference will be held on 6‐10 September 2015 in Prague, Czech 
Republic. ENBIS‐15 will feature a
number of distinguished keynote speakers, invited and contributed 
sessions, workshops and panel
discussions, as well as short pre‐ and post‐conference workshops. Among 
the confirmed keynote
speakers for ENBIS‐15 are:

- Ronald Does, University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands).
- Geoff Vining, Virginia Tech (USA).
- Robin Willink, National Metrology Institute (New Zealand).
- Jeff Wu, Georgia Institute of Technology (USA).

Session topics include but are not limited to the following areas:

- Design of physical & computer experiments.
- Statistical engineering.
- Measurement uncertainty.
- Time series modeling and forecasting.
- Process modeling and control.
- Process improvement in healthcare.
- Reliability and safety.

You are cordially invited to submit an abstract for your presentation. 
The final abstract submission
deadline is June 14st, 2015. Simply visit www.enbis.org (Upcoming Events 
/ ENBIS‐15), log in and
submit. If you are not yet a member of ENBIS, register – it’s easy and 
there is no membership fee.
Confirmed pre‐ and post‐ conference events in the framework of ENBIS‐15 
are:

- Workshop on Measuring Uncertainty in the GUM (VIM) vs ISO 5725 (ISO 
3534) Approaches:
Which Statistical Viewpoint to Choose, by Franco Pavese and Robin 
Willink (from IMEKO TC
21).
- Workshop on Generalized Regression with JMP, by Volker Kraft.
- Industrial visit to the Staropramen Brewery (www.staropramen.com).

Interactive sessions at the ENBIS conference give participants the 
opportunity to discuss their own
problems and case studies with specialists:

- Live Problem‐Solving Session by Christian Ritter: Are you facing a 
problem in industrial and
business statistics and need outsider input? Please send the problem 
description to
christian.ritter at ridaco.be and take advantage of our network membersʹ 
ideas!

- Measuring Uncertainty by Franco Pavese and Robin Willink. Are you 
facing a problematic
measurement uncertainty issue? You are encouraged to submit your case in 
advance to Antonio
Pievatolo who will forward it to Franco and Robin.
