Following a biennial tradition, the Classification and Data Analysis 
Group of the Italian Statistical Society -- CLADAG -- will organize its 
10th Meeting in Cagliari. The event is organized  under the auspices of 
the International Federation of Classification Societies (IFCS) and of 
the Italian Statistical Society (SIS) and is orientated towards all 
topics related to data analysis, classification, multivariate and 
computational statistics. Submissions addressing these topics in both 
methodological and practical perspective are welcomed. The conference 
venue is the Flamingo Resort, located in Santa Margherita di Pula, about 
35 km from downtown Cagliari.
The Local Organizer is the Department of Business and Economics of the 
University of Cagliari.

The conference program will include keynote lectures, specialized 
sessions, solicited sessions and contributed sessions.

Important dates:
February 15, 2015: Title of the paper to be presented at the conference 
or submission of a proposal for a possible solicited session.
March 15, 2015:  Submission of the short paper.
March 31, 2015: Notification of acceptance.
April 30, 2015: Submission of the revised version of the short paper.
May 1, 2015: Registration opening.
June 15, 2015: Deadline for Early Registration.
October 8-10, 2015: Cladag 2015 Meeting.

Abstracts could be submitted in LaTeX or MSWord format. Templates are

POST-CONFERENCE publication:
The Program Committee encourages authors of the best papers to submit an 
extended version for possible publication in:
- Statistical Analysis and Data Mining: The ASA Data Science Journal

Both journals will offer the possibility to publish a Special Selection 
of the best 10-15 papers presented at CLADAG 2015. Topics covered in 
these papers should be in line with the Aims  and Scope of the journal 
and will undergo a regular review process.

The Program Committee members are currently negotiating with Editors of 
other top journals in Statistics and Data Analysis to check for the 
possibility of publishing other Special Selections. Updated information 
about the post-conference publication options will be provided on the 
conference website (http://convegni.unica.it/cladag2015/post_conf_publ).

Venue:
The Flamingo Resort is located in Pula, just 35 Km from Cagliari's 
harbor and airport. It is composed of the Hotel Flamingo (****) and the 
Hotel Mare Pineta (***). The Resort is immersed in the peace and 
tranquility of a natural oasis, nestling in the greenery of a pinewood, 
which stretches along the coast. The hotel overlooks a beautiful, sandy 
beach with crystal clear water and is a natural haven for those 
holidaymakers seeking relaxation and comfort.
