The Organizing Committee cordially invites you to 
attend the 1st Summer School on Applied Health Econometrics and Health Policy.

In recent years, Health Econometrics have been 
playing an important role in supporting health 
and social care policy decisions. This Summer 
School aims to bring together economists, 
statisticians, econometricians, healthcare 
managers and scientists to discuss the adoption 
of statistical and econometric methods to address 
issues in the field of healthcare and to explore 
the relationship between research in health care and policy making.


INFORMATION

    * Course aim: The Summer School provides an 
introduction to Health Quality Evaluation, Health 
Care Productivity and Health Expenditure, 
Behavioural in Health Care and Hospital Competition.
    * Target group: This four-days event is 
dedicated to students, young researchers in 
health economics and management and non-academic professionals.
    * ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer 
System): The students Summer School will receive 
3 ECTS credits counting for their degrees.
    * Lectures: The course is based on lectures, 
work groups, discussions and data analysis based on statistical softwares.
