Second Call for papers

Ninth Scientific Meeting of the Classification and Data Analysis Group (ClaDAG) 
of the Italian Statistical Association (SIS)

September 18th-20th, 2013

The University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UniMORE) organizes the ninth scientific meeting of the Classification and Data Analysis Group of the Italian Statistical Society. The conference is mainly devoted to the theory and application of classification and data analysis statistical techniques. However, as  in occasion of the past editions, and in the spirit of the most fruitful scientific exchange, we encourage the active participation of everyone that is interested in the numerous application fields of classification and data analysis. 

These colleagues have already accepted the invitation of the Scientific Program Committee:

_ Paolo S. Giudici, Università di Pavia, Italy
_ Stéphane Robin, AgroParisTech, France
_ Jeroen K. Vermunt, University of Tilburg, The Netherlands

Self-organized sessions are also welcomed: sessions focused on a specific topic and consisting of 3 or 4 talks. The self-organized session papers are subject to the normal review process, however the talks will have 20 minutes slots instead of the ordinal 15' reserved to the contributed paper sessions. If interested in submitting a proposal for a session, please contact the conference scientific secretary (secretary a cladag2013.it).

Deadline and all submission guidelines are indicated on the conference website: http://www.cladag2013.it.

After a fast yet rigorous reviewing process a limited number of extended papers will be published in the Conference post-proceedings. Post-proceedings will be published into a prestigious and indexed series in collaboration with an international publisher.
