NEW DEADLINES:
March 1, 2013: abstract submission
March 22, 2013: early registration

The Department of Statistical Sciences of Bologna University in collaboration with the Department of Management and Engineering of the University of Padova, the Department of Statistical Modelling of Saint Petersburg State University and INFORMS Simulation Society are sponsoring the Seventh International Workshop on Simulation.
This international conference is devoted to statistical techniques in stochastic simulation, data collection and analysis of scientific experiments and studies representing broad areas of interest. The Seventh International Workshop on Simulation will take place in the Rimini Campus of the University of Bologna in the historical centre of Rimini. The scientific program will be carried out from May 21 to May 24, while May 25 will be devoted to social/free activities.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Original papers on Workshop topics are solicited. Authors should send their abstract (1-2 pages) by March 1, 2013 to the following address: iws2013 a gmail.com. Please, insert in the email subject the keyword "IWS2013". Submission should strictly adhere to the latex template available on the web site at http://www2.stat.unibo.it/iws/callforpapers.asp 
The book of abstracts will be delivered to participants during the Workshop.

The deadline for early registration is March 22.

Full Paper submission (after the Workshop)

Proceedings from the Workshop will be published in the series Springer Proceedings in Mathematics & Statistics.

Communications in Statistics - Simulations and Computations has agreed to devote a Special Issue on a selection of high quality papers from the Workshop.

International Statistical Review also agreed to consider publishing papers within the scope of the Journal, i.e. the papers have to be reasonably broad and have some overview or review material.

The submission style will follow the general rules of the Journals.
