The Cancer Registry of Norway is currently seeking candidates with a 
strong statistical background for a pilot project for a nationwide 
colorectal cancer screening program.

100% position until 31st December 2014 with an opportunity of extending 
the period of employment.

The  project involves a randomized study of two different screening 
methods in two different health regions. Various endpoints are monitored 
continuously. The program aims to optimize participation and logistics, 
and results from the study will be used to decide whether or not a 
nationwide screening program should be implemented.

The statistician will in addition to helping with management and 
analysis of the clinical trial data, also plan, design and analyse 
epidemiological research projects in collaboration with other 
researchers. We expect the statistician to develop new methods and ideas 
in accordance with CRN’s strategy.
