The STOR-i doctoral training centre at Lancaster University, UK is now accepting applications for
October 2012 entry. STOR-i offers a four year PhD programme in Statistics
and Operational Research developed and delivered with industrial partners.

What's on offer?
- A fully-funded studentship for October 2012.
- Studentship covers tuition and an enhanced maintenance grant of up to £16,590 (based on 2010-11 figures).

What track record are we looking for?
Typically we would expect you to:
- Have undertaken, or are currently taking, an undergraduate course with substantial mathematical content
- Be expecting to achieve in the coming year, or already hold, a first class honours degree  (or equivalent).

Please note that we do not require expertise in BOTH statistics and operational research, but having a degree
which includes a substantial content of either would be an advantage.

Please note that the closing date for non-UK applicants is January 20th, 2012 under application path (b).
