[Forum SIS] 17th European Young Statisticians Meeting

To whom it may concern,

The 17th European Young Statisticians Meeting will be held at the
Faculdade de Ciencias e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Lisbon
- Portugal, September 5-9, 2011.

The European Young Statisticians Meetings are conferences organized every
two years under the auspices of the European Regional Committee of the
Bernoulli Society. The aim is to provide a scientific forum for the next
generation of European researchers in probability theory and statistics.

The meeting will gather 46 participants coming from 23 European countries.
Participants are less than 30 years old or have 2 to 8 years of research
experience. They are chosen by invitation only in a uniformly distributed
way in Europe (2 participants per country).

Italian candidates must submit an extended curriculum vitae to the email
address francesco.finazzi a unibg.it by February 6, 2011.
Note that Italian candidates may not be Italian but are required to be
associated to an Italian institution at the moment the CV is submitted.

The list of the selected participants will be published on the web site page
http://www.fct.unl.pt/17eysm/participants around the middle of February,
2011.
