PhD position in Computational Biology/Statistical Data Analysis

For a project funded by the Austrian Science Foundation (FWF), we are
seeking for a highly motivated PhD student. This position is available
for the duration of 3 years. 

The applicant must have the following essential skills:

- Master degree in statistics, engineering or complex systems sciences.

- Strong programming skills in R/python/Java and database knowledge
preferably in a Linux environment. 

- Strong experience in statistics and data analysis.

Knowledge in graph theory is desired but not absolutely required.
Moreover, good communication- and English skills are also necessary. 
The ideal candidate would enjoy working in a multidisciplinary
environment.
Background of structure-oriented drug design, computational biology,
biochemistry, and statistical modeling is a plus.
