The role of Post Doctoral Fellow is to contribute to high quality
research, some teaching duties (0.2 FTE), and other services for the
Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

Position Overview

Applications are invited for a two-year, fixed-term Post Doctoral
Fellowship in mathematics and statistics. Funded by the Department of
Mathematics and Statistics, this Fellowship is open to scientists
working in any area of mathematics and statistics, and includes a
teaching component.

Applications should hold a minimum qualification of PhD or equivalent
prior to starting the Fellowship. The successful candidate will have a
good academic background, including the acceptance of publications in
international journals. The Fellow will be expected to contribute and
enhance the research and teaching of the Department.

The successful applicant must be able to take up the position by no
later than 31 January 2010.
