Research Unit of Perugia

The members of the Research Unit belong to the Department of Economics, Finance and Statistics of the University of Perugia and to the Department of Theories and Methods for Human and Social Sciences of University of Naples Federico II. They are:

The Unit is characterized by a strong vocation towards methodological developments about Latent Markov (LM) models and mixture models between a discrete Uniform and a translated Binomial distribution for categorical data (CUB). These developments will be elaborated, in particular, with the Units of Firenze, Milano-Bicocca, and Roma. Moreover, these developments will be accompanied by applications on effectiveness of tertiary education on job condition and crime, which will be jointly elaborated, in particular, with the Unit of Milano-Bicocca.
